A burden for youth

Andrew Oswald's article contains a fatal flaw.

He writes that undergraduates should pay fees as their future reward will be greater, arguing that, after graduation, "my students will earn more than plumbers". Is he kidding? When was the last time you had to call out a plumber, professor?
