The Arts and Humanities Research Board has announced a third round of awards totalling Pounds 17,229,543 for more than 200 research projects.
Awards include continued funding for some projects awarded research grants in the first two rounds. This means the board, set up last year, is committing itself to longer-term funding. The AHRB has made 30 awards of grants under Pounds 5,000, 95 research grants over Pounds 5,000 and 94 research-leave awards.
