NUST MISIS launches a new Master's program in the field of Data Science

A new English-language Master's program Data Science has opened at the National University of Science and Technology MISIS.

It will suit those interested in working with data in various subject areas. Data Science сompetences are now among the most demanded on the labor market.

The NUST MISIS Data Science Master's programme is distinguished by the wide use of discrete mathematics for solving applied problems.

The programme includes modules on graph and set theories, statistics, machine learning, artificial intelligence and neural networks, modern storage and data processing hardware, and other applied disciplines.

Courses are conducted by practicing experts and experienced professors from NUST MISIS, Moscow State University and HSE. Among them are the doctor of technical sciences, professor Andrey Petrov and the leading expert on E-commerce in Russia Nikolay Zakharov.

Applicants take an exam in the discipline "Computer science and computer technology" in the form of an oral interview by Skype.

Documents can be submitted until July 31, 2019.

Tuition is 264,000 rubles. Undergraduates are paid scholarships: 17.000 rubles (about 260 US dollars) per month for students enrolled on a contract basis (if they fully pay for the first year of study until September 30), and 13.000 rubles (200 US dollars) per month for quota students.

All graduate students are given a place in the Commune House dormitory, recognized as one of the best student dormitories in Russia.
