The Department of Clinical Embryology is one of the top centres in Asia for advanced research and training in the field of fertility. The mandate of research is the study of fertility and reproduction. The center treated >12000 infertile couples so far and offers all modern assisted conception technologies, including Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis, fertility preservation for children and adults. Besides providing top-clinical care to patients suffering from infertility the center also focusses on understanding the basic pathophysiological mechanisms underlying infertility. Department has received several research grants from national and international funding agencies and has active collaborations with world’s leading research institutes in Europe and USA. Apart from strong PhD program, the department offers Advanced Skill Set Training (ASSET) program for students, teachers, medical doctors to empower them to undertake clinical and research activities at their own institutes.
