Bushfire and Natural Hazards CRC

The Bushfire and Natural Hazards CRC (BNHCRC) uniquely draws together all of Australia and New Zealand’s fire and emergency service authorities, along with leading researchers to explore the causes, consequences and mitigation of natural disasters.  The BNHCRC was launched in 2013, building on the previous Bushfire CRC.  As a research partner CQUniversity provides expert leadership across a number of research themes and activities including Emergency Management Capability; Child-centred disaster risk reduction; and Firefighter fatigue.

Poultry CRC

The Poultry CRC draws together expertise in poultry health, food safety and egg quality, and ethical, environmentally sustainable poultry production from across Australia.  As an Other Participant CQUniversity provides research expertise in poultry health and productivity, particularly in the area of poultry intestinal microbiota. 

Rail Manufacturing CRC

The Rail Manufacturing Co-operative Research Centre (RMCRC) is working to transform the global rail manufacturing supply chain to enhance Australia’s capacity and competitiveness.  As a founding Essential Participant, CQUniversity provides world class research to the CRC to help achieve this aim.  Professor Grant Stanley (Deputy Vice-Chancellor – Research) is the Research Nominee Director member of the RMCRC Board.

Australasian Centre for Rail Innovation

The Australian Centre for Rail Innovation (ACRI) undertakes industry-led applied research to improve the rail sector productivity and sustainability.  As a Strategic Participant, CQUniversity brings world-class research experience in heavy haul operations.
