The University of Abertay Dundee is setting up an alumni association. It has written to 14,000 former students inviting them to join. Membership will be free to anyone with a qualification from UAD or one of its predecessors - Dundee Institute of Technology, Dundee College of Technology or Dundee Institute of Art and Technology. Former students as far back as 1969 have been sent letters at their last known address. The association is planning a magazine on university developments, news on alumni and class reunions plus details of special services.

Former students interested in joining the association should contact: Barry Ferguson, Alumni Relations Officer, University of Abertay Dundee. Telephone: 01382 308919.
