DSc: Alistair Cumming, managing director of British Airways Engineering; Nigel Horne, technology partner at KPMG Peat Marwick; Alan Gillett, member of the University Council; Charles Gough, chairman of the Higher Education Funding Council; Elizabeth Nelson, market research founder of Taylor Nelson AGB, chief executive of the Princess Royal Trust for Carers, chairman of the Eco-Labelling Board and non-executive director of the Royal Bank of Scotland; Wen-Shiong Tsung, director of the National Institute for the Blind of Taiwan.
