Why attend the Brazil International Schools Forum & Workshop?

Simply put, there is no other international event in Brazil that offers so many benefits for its school counsellors.

We recognise the crucial work counsellors do in advising students across the region, and the need for you to continuously build upon your knowledge, skill set, and global network. That’s why this event has been specifically designed to aid your understanding of international admissions practices and make the right kind of contacts around the world.

Benefits of participation

This event is only for high school counsellors who have been invited to participate. If approved, participation is free of charge and includes the following benefits:

  • Two nights of deluxe hotel accommodation (on a twin-shared basis), depending on your location
  • Networking cocktail reception and dinner on the evening of Wednesday, 18 March 2026
  • Buffet breakfast, coffee breaks, and gourmet lunch on 18 & 19 March 2026
  • Participation in THE CAP professional development sessions
  • 26 pre-scheduled individual meetings with international education institutions

Accommodation

All counsellors will receive two free nights of deluxe hotel accommodation, depending on their location, from Tuesday, 17 March to Thursday, 19 March 2026 at the Hotel Meliá Paulista in São Paulo. Buffet breakfast is included.

Please note that there is a limited number of hotel rooms available, and they are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. We therefore cannot guarantee rooms to counsellors applying after 15 December 2025, but all approved counsellors from outside São Paulo will be guaranteed a room as long as you apply by the deadline.

Early registration is therefore recommended as there is a limited number of places in the event. Please note that if two counsellors from the same school are approved to participate, they must share the same room.

Hotel Check-in: 17 March 2026

Hotel Check-out: 19 March 2026

Networking Cocktail Reception and Dinner

The Cocktail Reception and Dinner is an important aspect of the event and will take place on the evening of Wednesday, 18 March 2026. This is the perfect opportunity to meet other counsellors from across Brazil, as well as the participating international education institutions, in a relaxed environment. Attendance is mandatory for all participants.

In just three days, you will:

- Meet experienced representatives from International Universities who have been flown into São Paulo by BMI/THE specifically for this event, as well as fellow counsellors from across the region.

- Receive the latest updates on undergraduate admissions criteria and application procedures to International Universities.

- Participate in a series of world-class professional development sessions as part of the Times Higher Education Counsellor Accreditation Programme (THE CAP).

The Brazil International Schools Forum & Workshop is therefore a must-attend event for gathering new insights on international education, enhancing the way you support students applying overseas, and staying up-to-date on undergraduate admissions.

Register your school to participate in the Brazil International Schools Forum & Workshop in São Paulo, on 17 to 19 March 2026
