Application forms and required documents

When helping students apply to universities in Malaysia, it’s important to ensure they prepare and submit the right documents properly. Here’s a step-by-step guide for each required item.

1. Complete the application form
- Visit the university’s official website and navigate to the admissions or international students section.
- Fill out the online application form or download the PDF version if required.
- Double-check all personal information (name, date of birth, contact details) to ensure it matches the student’s passport.
- Carefully select the programme and intake period (March or September).
- Review the form before submitting to avoid any mistakes.

2. Academic transcripts and certificates
- Collect official transcripts from high school.
- Ensure documents are in English or officially translated if needed.
- Get copies certified by an authorised body (such as the school or education department).
- Some universities may require students to convert their grades to a specific format – check the university’s guidelines.

3. Proof of English proficiency
- Provide IELTS, TOEFL or other approved English test.
