Triadic triumph

In his review of Pip Jones' Introducing Social Theory , John Parker complains about the author's use of "the third triadic of social theory" (February ).

But this triadic perspective gives students an illuminating entry point to complex debates. When you are tired of the triadic, you are tired of teaching introductory sociology.
