No one's at the wheel!

January 28, 2010

I'm worried about 11 February. It's a perfect day to take over your university, as it's likely that the senior managers will be out. The THE is sponsoring the Leadership Foundation's HE Leadership Summit in London and the Lord Dearing memorial conference in Nottingham. Meanwhile, the 1994 Group and the Higher Education Academy are supporting a conference on the student experience in London. If anyone is left, they could head off to the Office for the Independent Adjudicator's launch of its Pathway report. What makes 11 February so special?

Mike Ratcliffe, Oxford.
