Letter: In brief 2

March 8, 2002

Nigel Paterson is wrong to say fewer Japanese are studying in the United Kingdom ("How UK can sell more 1st-class tickets for life", THES , February 22). UK education attracts 55,000 Japanese each year and more than 6,000 of these are in higher education, a growth of more than 90 per cent since 1994-95.
