Less pay, more focus 2

Now that the annual nine days of wonderment at vice-chancellors' salaries has passed, will The THES make further public disclosures? Your tables (News, THES , February 7) show that 998 individuals in higher education are paid more than £100,000. Of these, you identify by name just 125.

Are you able to throw any light on the anonymous 873? I and many other heads of institutions would be more than happy to achieve parity with that group of staff.
