Ignatieff row 2

September 16, 2005

Michael Ignatieff was once a socialist historian and an editor of History Workshop Journal . Later, he appeared as a liberal academic with views on morality in what was then the broadsheet press.

Now I see there is an issue about his views on human rights.

I'm not sure why. He has been a B-52 liberal for some years, sharing with Blair the idea that while some people can struggle and win their own rights, others have to have bombs dropped on them for matters to, er, "improve".
