The Western Ukrainian National University was originally founded as the Ternopil Branch of Financial and Economic Faculty of Kyiv Institute of National Economy in 1966. A year later the branch became a separate faculty and in 1971 it turned into Ternopil Financial and Economic Institute. In 2005 the institute was granted full university status and it became Ternopil National Economic University. In 2020 it was renamed West Ukrainian National University. The university is located in Ternopil, one of the largest cities in western Ukraine. There are three branches of the university spread across the city of Ternopil: Lutsk Branch, Sambir Branch, and Svaliava Branch. The university is divided into five faculties: the faculty of economics and management, faculty of computer information technologies, faculty of finance and accounting, faculty of law, and the faculty of humanities and social sciences. Each faculty offers a range of courses at both undergraduate and graduate level. Throughout the year, the university carries out innovative research projects. There are a number of research centres at the university that facilitate these projects such as the Education and Research Institute of Bioresources and Environmental Management, the Education and Research Institute of Innovative Educational Technologies, and the Education and Research Institute of Creative Studies.

You will shape secure, analysis-ready datasets that underpin evidence-based treatment decisions and global practice guidelines. What you will deliver: Develop and maintain comprehensive data dictionaries across all SNAP electronic data capture systems. Prepare, clean and transform trial datasets for interim and final analyses, ensuring integrity and reproducibility. Oversee data corrections and access requests, providing well-documented datasets for internal and external collaborators. Liaise with unblinded statisticians, trial managers and committees to support timely, compliant analyses and reporting. Implement data management processes that meet GCP, privacy and quality assurance requirements. You may be a great fit if you: Hold a degree in epidemiology, biomedical or health science, data management or related public health discipline. Demonstrate experience querying, extracting and manipulating clinical trial data, including producing robust data documentation. The Department of Mechanical Engineering offers B.Eng., M.Sc., M.Phil. and Ph.D. degree programmes. The University of Hong Kong has a highly ranked engineering school and an active Mechanical Engineering Programme. The Department employs about 35 full-time faculty members and has well-equipped teaching and research facilities and support. The research environment is vibrant. Frontier research efforts are promoted and conducted in strategic areas related to this post, including but not limited to micro/nanofabrication, electronic/photonic materials and devices, advanced manufacturing, electrochemical engineering, micro/nano mechanics, and intelligent robotic systems. Advanced microelectronics plays a critical role in driving innovation and technological advancements across various industries and is the foundation of today’s interconnected world. We are particularly interested in candidates who have expertise in advanced micro/nanofabrication processes, such as nanolithography, advanced thin film deposition and etching, etc.; 3D integrated circuits, such as heterogeneous integration, high-density interconnects, wafer bonding, thermal management, etc.; advanced packaging technologies, such as system-in-package, flip-chip packaging, etc. Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in a related engineering field, with an excellent research record. Candidates with industry experience or strong connections to the industry are preferred. The appointee is expected to conduct frontier research in next-generation microelectronics technology, deliver high-quality teaching to undergraduate and postgraduate students, engage in knowledge transfer activities, and provide administrative support to the University/Faculty/Department. Transformational Coaching for Employment: Identity Formation Among Indian Youth Join an exciting Leverhulme Trust–funded research project at the University of Southampton exploring how coaching for elite employment shapes the identities, aspirations, and social mobility of young people in India. Situated within the sociology of education, this innovative project focuses on coaching for the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) examinations—one of the most competitive routes into prestigious public sector careers in India. Drawing on a novel conceptual framework of ‘coached habitus’, the research examines how non-formal education influences youth transitions, identity formation, and the education–employment nexus in contexts of inequality. Adopting a multi-method qualitative design, the study combines ethnographic and visual methods, biographical interviews, and policy analysis. The project aims to generate internationally significant research outputs alongside meaningful policy and public engagement. About the role The Research Fellow will play a central role in delivering this ambitious project. You will take a leading role in qualitative fieldwork and data collection in Delhi, including ethnographic observations, interviews, and visual documentation, and contribute across all stages of research, from design to dissemination. You will work closely with Dr Achala Gupta and will be supported to develop an internationally competitive research profile. The role offers opportunities to co-author publications, lead elements of project outputs, present at major international conferences, and engage with policy stakeholders.
