The appointee will have extensive clinical experience within the field of diagnostic radiography and can demonstrate education experience within the clinical and/or academic setting. The appointee will be responsible for teaching general radiography using clinical simulation and a range of subjects using multiple teaching methods (face to face and online delivery). The appointee will also participate in the administration and ongoing curriculum development and progress an active research profile that aligns with both the University and Schools direction About you A qualification relevant to diagnostic radiography or equivalent accreditation and standing appropriate at the level being applied for. Full registration as a Diagnostic Radiographer with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra). Sound knowledge and understanding of diagnostic radiography gained through industry experience and/or scholarly activities and/or course administration. You will also be establishing and fostering effective relationships with industry and government partners, both domestically and internationally, and as such, regular international travel may be required to support teaching delivery, partnership development, and research collaboration activities. About you A doctoral qualification in emergency management or a related discipline, or equivalent accreditation and standing. Experience designing and delivering student centred curricula across undergraduate and postgraduate courses relevant to emergency management. Contemporary emergency management / disaster management-related expertise demonstrated through teaching, research and publications. Strong scholarly record with successful grant applications, peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations on emergency management-adjacent topics. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and experience collaborating effectively with academic colleagues, industry partners, and community stakeholders.
