Established in 1931, Berkeley College is a for-profit business school spread across eight sites in New York City and New Jersey.

The college has several thousand students, with a number of international attendees.  The most popular programs of study are criminal justice, management, fashion management, health services management, accounting and general business.

The campuses of Berkeley College vary widely, from the hustle and bustle of midtown Manhattan  to the quiet New Jersey countryside. The university also has a well-respected online scheme offering qualifications to students the world over. The focus is on preparing students for a career. Courses are tailored to meet employer’s needs and teaching is a mix of experiential learning and carefully designed classroom interaction.

The university also fosters close links with partners in business and industry allowing them to offer excellent internships and job-related assignments, letting students put what they have learned in the classroom into practice in the working world.

The College offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in more than twenty different career fields; there is a heavy emphasis on businesses courses and management at the university.  The majority of students are enrolled in bachelors degrees. Courses are split over five schools, the Larry L. Luing school of business, the school of health studies, the school of professional studies, the school of liberal arts and the graduate school.
