The Chopin University of Music (UMFC) is a public university founded in 1810 and is the only music university in Poland and one of the oldest and biggest in Europe. At UMFC, students study at nine faculties in Warsaw and one at the UMFC branch in Białystok. The nine faculties include composition and theory of music, conducting, instrumental studies, vocal studies, artistic education within the art of music, church music, dance, jazz and stage music and sound engineering. The university offers first- and second-cycle studies and a doctoral school. Other forms of education at the UMFC are paid postgraduate studies and artistic internships. The university grants graduates the professional title of bachelor - after completing the first-cycle studies and the professional title of master of arts - after completing the second-cycle studies. Other forms of education at the UMFC are paid postgraduate studies and artistic internships. Students engaged in intensive artistic and scientific activity, participating in international competitions and other significant artistic and academic undertakings, as well as students with particularly difficult living conditions or temporary health problems may pursue an individual program and study plan. In addition, students have the opportunity to improve their competences at the Entrepreneurship Center and on Reach the Stars courses enabling them to develop their skills under the guidance of the most recognised artists from around the world.

The aim of the project is to increase participation in physical activity among adults with intellectual disability. We will co-design and evaluate a cross-sector physical activity navigator program with adults with intellectual disability and our community project partners (Inclusion Australia, Down Syndrome Victoria and Prader-Willi Research Foundation of Australia). The incumbent in this position will work closely with the research team and interest-holders to ensure timely completion of research activities including preparation of ethics applications, data collection, data analysis and maintaining research records. They will be autonomous in making decisions within established frameworks, plan and prioritise their workload, and handle routine tasks independently while assisting with more complex issues when needed.
