World University Rankings by Subject 2022: Psychology

The psychology subject table uses the same trusted and rigorous performance indicators as the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2022, but the methodology has been recalibrated to suit the discipline.

It highlights the universities that are leading across several areas of psychology, including educational, sport, business, animal and clinical psychology.

This year’s table includes 568 universities, up from 533 last year.

The UK’s University of Cambridge makes its debut in the psychology ranking in 2022 and claims the top spot, after meeting the eligibility criteria for the first time. Stanford University previously led the table since its inception in 2018.
