Your professional field of activity: The announcement comprises up to three PhD positions associated with the Faculty of Mathematics and, more specifically, with the Vienna School of Mathematics (VSM https://www.vsmath.at), for general enquiries please contact Prof. Dr. Andreas Cap. We are looking for independent scientists with a strong interest in research. For the purpose of this announcement, the VSM has asked its supervisors to submit proposals for directions for PhD projects, the collected suggestions are available online via https://www.vsmath.at//media/vsm_positions_jan26.html. The aim for filling up to three announced positions is to find excellent combinations of candidates and projects. Therefore, an application is only possible for specific projects from that list. Each candidate is allowed to apply for at most three of the projects. Successful candidates will be employed for a specific project, which also defines the requirements for the position. Each of the announced positions is planned to be for 4 years; the initial employment duration will be 1.5 years and the employment will automatically be extended to a duration of 4 years unless the employer issues a non-extension notice within the first 12 months of the employment. The envisaged employment date is October 1, 2026, in special cases earlier starting may be possible. The master study has tobe completed before the beginning of the employment, this must be conceivable at the time of the application. About us: King’s Business School (KBS) is seeking a highly organised, professional and motivated Senior Programme Officer to join our Executive Education team on a fixed-term maternity leave contract. About the role: The Senior Programme Officer (SPO) will provide high-quality logistical and administrative support for a suite of open enrolment and custom executive education short courses. Working with the Senior Delivery Manager and other key colleagues, the SPO will be responsible for providing a seamless, professional and efficient customer experience to everyone who interacts with KBS Executive Education via our programmes, including participants, Programmes Directors, external contributors and partners and wider colleagues.
