Established in 1978, the Nova School of Business and Economics is part of the Universidade Nova do Lisboa and Alfredo de Sousa Foundation in Lisbon, Portugal and serves as its faculty of economic, finance and management sciences. Nova SBE is a member of CEMS, the Global Alliance in Management Education and is accredited by EQUIS, AMBA and AACSB, making it one of just 77 business schools to be triple accredited and the first Portuguese business schools to received international accreditations. The school has 2,797 students, of which 1,456 are undergraduates and 1,257 are graduates (as of 2016) and 84 doctoral students. At the time of writing, the school is relocating from the former Jesuit College of Campolide, a nineteenth century building, to a new campus. Courses on offer are, for undergraduates, bachelors in economics and management, for graduates, master's degrees in economics, finance management, CEMS master in international management, international master in finance Brazil-Europe and PhDs in economics/finance management.
