Final Word

This week's Final Word comes from the high point of what has been called "the poetical history of man-kind":

"Wherever Krishna, the lord of yoga, and Partha, the bowman, are, I believe that there too there will be fortune, victory, prosperity, and lasting good counsel."

The winner of last week's competition, who identified William Makepeace Thackeray's Vanity Fair , is Radhakrishnan Nayar of Coventry.
