Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree or above in Psychology, or a related discipline. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese); strong communication skills; basic knowledge in using statistical software such as SPSS and R; be self-motivated, responsible and able to work independently and as a team. Those with experience in working with children/adolescents are preferred. Applicants for the senior research assistant position are expected to have prior experience in managing research projects. The appointee will work on various projects related to children’s and adolescents’ mathematics and science learning. He/she will be responsible for literature review, preparation of assessment materials, liaising with external parties, coordination of research activities, conducting assessments with children and adolescents, supervision of research interns, data processing, and other research-related duties as assigned. The Student Fees team consists of the International Fees team and the HECS and Domestic Fees team and you will work closely as a joint member of both teams. This is an excellent opportunity for you to be able to utilise your strong administrative and organisational skills to coordinate and undertake a range of operational activities on an ongoing basis, primarily around fees for both domestic and international students - Commonwealth supported, domestic and international fee paying, HELP loans, external sponsorship, scholarships, US loans, Agent commission, Government reporting. In this role, you will be monitoring, supporting, and where required, escalating activities with an emphasis on quality assurance, continuous improvement and collaborative knowledge sharing practices.
