In December 2025, the Real-World Study and Application Centre (RWSAC) was established under GBAICTI to open up local health and medical databases and promote collaboration between Hong Kong and other GBA cities. We are now seeking a high-calibre professional to join the RWSAC (located at Hetao Shenzhen-Hong Kong Science and Technology Innovation Cooperation Zone) as Data Scientist - Artificial Intelligence. Duties and Responsibilities Develop and apply advanced artificial intelligence and machine learning models to real-world data (RWD). Create innovative tools and solutions to extract deeper insights from RWD and enhance the centre’s analytical capabilities. Develop, validate, and deploy AI/ML models to support RWE generation. Leverage the RWSAC's AI facility to conduct large-scale analyses and build innovative tools derived from RWD to improve clinical practice and research. Stay abreast of the latest developments in AI/ML for healthcare and ensure methodologies are cutting-edge and scientifically sound. Ensure all AI models are developed with considerations for fairness, ethics, and transparency.  Requirements PhD degree or above preferably in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in data engineering, data ops, or AI/ML data management, preferably in the medical and/or research sectors. Hands-on experience in building and maintaining production-grade datasets for AI/ML models. Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
