Prof. Zhang’s research interests cover topics in AMO physics, including quantum simulation of strongly correlated physics, ultracold chemistry and precision measurements. The role also involves liaising with stakeholders, assisting in the delivery of training and coaching activities (which may include taking up part of the teaching duties), collecting and analyzing feedback from training and consultation sessions to inform ongoing improvements, and supporting implementation of the program. Appointment as Assistant Professor will be made on a three-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal and consideration for tenure before the expiry of a second three-year fixed-term contract. Applicants should possess a PhD degree in Art History or a related field. The position is open to all subfields, preference will be given to candidates with the ability to teach introductory courses in modern and contemporary art of Europe and the Americas. The appointee will also supervise postgraduate students and should exhibit a strong interest in, and commitment to, integrating digital technologies and AI into teaching and research. The successful candidate will be expected to develop a vigorous, independent research programme; excel in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and curriculum development; and undertake administrative duties as required.
