Doctoral degree (PhD or equivalent) in Clinical Genetics or a relevant field. Specialty certification in Clinical Genetics (Board Certification or equivalent) and relevant clinical experience. Eligibility for full, unrestricted medical licensure in Greece, permitting independent practice of Clinical Genetics. Proven record of undergraduate and/or postgraduate teaching relevant to the subject area. Research portfolio and publication record commensurate with the rank sought. Excellent command of Greek and English. Key Responsibilities Develop, deliver, and regularly update content relevant to their specialty across the curriculum of the Doctor of Medicine (MD) programme, from pre-clinical courses to clinical rotations, as well as in postgraduate programmes. The successful candidate will be expected to engage students through innovative teaching methods, fostering critical thinking, clinical reasoning, professional values and ethical practice. Provide clinical education leadership, overseeing curriculum design and delivery, student assessment and continuous quality improvement, and provide mentorship to junior members of the clinical education team. Provide mentorship and guidance to students, including advising on research projects, theses, and career development. Conduct high-impact research in Clinical Genetics, securing external funding to establish and sustain these programmes. Disseminate findings through peer-reviewed publications and presentations at national and international conferences. Serve on Departmental and School committees and assist with strategic planning and development. Advance the School’s mission by leading community outreach initiatives, holding leadership roles in relevant professional societies, and building strategic partnerships with healthcare and regulatory organisations. Teaching-focused role with no research requirement Shape future clinical psychologists in Aotearoa Supportive School with strong academic culture Ngā kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role We are seeking a Teaching Fellow in Clinical Psychology to join Te Kura Whatu Oho Mauri, the School of Psychological and Social Sciences, on a permanent, part-time basis. This is a teaching-focused role supporting the delivery of high-quality undergraduate teaching in psychology, with a particular emphasis on clinical psychology and the training of future practitioners. You will contribute to lectures, tutorials, and, where appropriate, laboratory or field-based teaching, as well as undertake assessment and paper administration. Working within a collaborative academic environment, you will support the development and delivery of teaching materials, contribute to curriculum enhancement, and help maintain high standards of student learning and engagement.
