Working collaboratively with targeted schools across metropolitan and regional areas, the incumbent will design and deliver initiatives that inspire and support students to pursue further study. The role will proactively develop innovative strategies to engage adult learners, strengthening their participation, outreach, and transition into higher education. Appointments will commence as soon as possible for a duration of one to two years, with the possibility of renewal, subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability. Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Social Work, Psychology, Statistics, Public Health, or a related discipline. Knowledge and skills in mathematics, biostatistics, or advanced statistical techniques in clinical research, database management, and machine learning (AI) will be taken into account. Experience and passion in research topics of palliative and end-of-life care and public health will be an advantage. The appointees will work with the Principal Investigator on various research projects related to end-of-life-care for persons with disabilities and families. They are expected to work independently on project management, proposal preparation and mentoring junior research staff members.
