The successful candidate will bring expertise in one or more of the following areas: Vision-Language Models and Multimodality Efficient and Low-Resource Computer Vision Robust and Reliable Computer Vision, or Medical Image Processing and Reconstruction Candidates who can contribute to the School's priorities in Responsible Computing or Digital Health will be highly regarded. The appointee will maintain an active research profile, including publications in leading venues such as CVPR, ICCV, NeurIPS, IJCV, and TPAMI, and will engage with academic, industry, and professional communities. The role involves delivering high-quality teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programs, contributing to curriculum development, and working collaboratively within a collegial academic environment. About You To be successful for this position, you will have: Contribute to high-quality teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programs in areas such as Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering, Cyber Security, and Information Technology, including online delivery. Develop and deliver engaging curriculum, course materials, and assessment aligned with contemporary industry and academic practice. Build and maintain an active research profile in computer vision, demonstrated through publications, development of research initiatives, and engagement with industry and external partners. Establish and strengthen collaborations with academic, industry, and professional communities to support research impact and student outcomes. Supervise higher degree by research candidates, contributing to a supportive and productive research environment. Contribute to a collegial team culture, working collaboratively, supporting colleagues, and engaging positively with diverse perspectives. Demonstrate a commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion across teaching, research, and supervision. Communicate effectively with a broad range of stakeholders, including presenting research to academic and non-academic audiences. At Senior Lecturer level, you will additionally: Provide leadership in teaching and research, including mentoring junior staff and contributing to team development. It conducts dynamic and innovative research to reduce food waste and improve profitability and sustainability of the Australian food industry. About the Role As the Centre Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day activities of the EFW CRC's Food and Beverage Small Medium Enterprise Packaging and Machinery Solution Centre's (the 'Centre') administrative functions. You will work under the direction of the Centre leadership (including the EFW CRC's National Reduce Program Leader, and Chief Investigators), and Centre governance structures, to provide a high level of service across processes and tasks that support the effective operation of the Centre. Responsibilities include but are not limited to business development administration, participant query management, administration of EOIs, proposals and contracts, support for report preparation and quarterly reporting, and administration of partnerships between project participants and researchers. You will draw on your background and networks in packaging and/or processing and/or machinery industries to support the Centre in achieving its KPIs and milestones. To be successful in this position, you'll have: Demonstrated experience in the provision of high-quality administrative support and customer service in a complex organisational or project-based environment. Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply organisational policies, procedures and contractual requirements, and to provide accurate advice in a customer-focused context. Demonstrated high level of computer literacy, including experience with standard office software and administrative systems, and the ability to learn new systems and tools as required. Sound administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to work effectively, flexibly and efficiently as a member of a small team, contributing to the achievement of Centre goals and milestones. Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare, format and edit documents and to communicate effectively with industry partners and stakeholders from a range of backgrounds.
