Université Djillali Liabès de Sidi Bel-Abbès is a public university located in the city of Sidi Bel-Abbès, Algeria. Established in 1981, the university is named after Djillali Liabès, a prominent Algerian philosopher, writer, and educator.
The university offers academic degrees at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels across nine faculties. Students can study programmes in technology, medicine, languages and art, humanities and social sciences, economics and business, exact sciences, law and political science, nature and life sciences, and electrical engineering.
The university houses various research laboratories and centres.
The university has two student clubs, Pathos Club and Codex Circular Club. Codex Circular Club focuses on promoting the English language across different university specialisations through reading and discussing English books. Club members actively engage in selecting and discussing books based on monthly themes, creating a diverse and enjoyable experience.
