We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and experienced Technical Officer to support the delivery of high-quality teaching, research, and outreach activities in the areas of Food Science and Human Nutrition. The role involves development of laboratory facilities and playing a central role in day‑to‑day operation and management of the laboratories within the Department of Sport Science & Nutrition. The Technical Officer will be a key member of the technical support team, ensuring that laboratories, teaching spaces, and equipment are well maintained and operate safely, efficiently, and to the highest professional standards. This is a key position requiring strong technical expertise, excellent organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively with academic staff, researchers and students. Salary: Technical Officer: €47,619 – €62,315 p.a. (7 points) Appointments will be made in accordance with public sector pay provisions.
