The appointment will be made on a three-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal and consideration for tenure before the expiry of a second three-year fixed-term contract. Exceptionally outstanding candidates at Professor/Associate Professor level may be considered for appointment on tenure terms. Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree in Economics, Strategy, or other related fields, with the capability to conduct high-quality research and teach relevant courses. The role An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part time (28.8hr per week) Large Animal Clinical Skills Technician in the School of Veterinary Medicine, supporting our clinical skills-based teaching programmes. The School of Veterinary Medicine aims to create a wealth of new knowledge of the animal world, taking a multi-disciplinary approach to veterinary education and research and creating the veterinary leaders of the future. You will be part of a team of technical staff delivering a high standard of animal welfare and husbandry along with technical support for teaching activities, in our purpose-built facilities. About you You will have either a relevant degree with farm and equine experience or significant relevant experience in ideally an equine environment, large animal environment, or veterinary clinical environment.
