Overview The University of Southampton, in partnership with Oxford International Education Group (OIEG), has successfully launched its first international campus in India, located in Gurgaon, Delhi. This initiative, developed in response to India's New Education Policy, represents a significant investment in transnational education. The campus provides Indian students with the opportunity to earn a globally recognised degree without leaving the country. Job Purpose  The role holder’s contribution will be central to delivery and support of teaching, learning and assessment, across Business for the University of Southampton Delhi.  The role holder will teach at undergraduate and postgraduate level in courses related to general management, like: Introduction to management  Management ethics Human resource management Entrepreneurial management Critical Perspectives on organisation and management Risk-taking and decision-making Digital technologies in business Business in society Consulting concepts and practices Innovation technology and environment Making successful decisions. Philosophy of management Engage in other necessary educational activities to ensure the successful delivery of degree programmes. Once teaching activities are embedded and successful, the role holder will undertake research and knowledge exchange in line with the campus’s research strategy. More specifically, research expertise in areas of general management.  The role holder will undertake leadership, management and engagement activities and will demonstrate collegiality by ensuring ‘Southampton Behaviours’ are embedded within their ways of working. They will be committed to high-quality education and support of learning and to building a vibrant student experience and community. The role An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part time (28.8hr per week) Large Animal Clinical Skills Technician in the School of Veterinary Medicine, supporting our clinical skills-based teaching programmes. The School of Veterinary Medicine aims to create a wealth of new knowledge of the animal world, taking a multi-disciplinary approach to veterinary education and research and creating the veterinary leaders of the future. With over £40m of investment, international and multi-partner collaborations, coupled with a multi-disciplinary approach and state-of-the-art equipment, teaching and research facilities. You will be part of a team of technical staff delivering a high standard of animal welfare and husbandry along with technical support for teaching activities, in our purpose-built facilities. You will be working predominantly with horses, cattle, & sheep so experience, good handling skills and knowledge is essential for the role. About you You will have either a relevant degree with farm and equine experience or significant relevant experience in ideally an equine environment, large animal environment, or veterinary clinical environment. You will also have a solid understanding of relevant health and safety issues.
