About the role: The Communications and Engagement Officer will be responsible for delivering all campaigns and creative content across the Entrepreneurship Institute’s (EI) social media channels and email marketing platform, as well as developing content (video, blogs, case studies podcasts) that encourages and compels audiences to join King’s entrepreneurial community and sign-up to or further engage with the Institute’s offerings. Monitoring and tracking of analytics to better understand the EI’s community will also be key. The Communications and Engagement Officer will also be responsible for delivering/co-delivering a range of engagement events and activities within the Communications & Engagement programme, which can include both curricular and co-curricular work. Collaboration is key to this role as the post-holder will be expected to seek out and nurture partnerships with internal partners at King’s and across the wider entrepreneurial ecosystem. The post-holder will also work with EI Programme leads, and students and alumni in King’s entrepreneurial community, to seek participant feedback and testimonials to create promotional content. About you: To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience: Essential criteria Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with a proven ability to adapt style for a variety of channels and audiences. Strong project or event management experience, well organised with thorough attention to detail. Good working knowledge and experience of a broad range of communications tools and activities (websites, social media etc). Proven track record of communicating creatively through social media, with a keen eye for trends and analytics. Proven ability to produce and edit multimedia – including video, audio, images. Demonstratable experience in engaging communities or different audiences. Proven experience in developing new relationships with stakeholders, internally and externally. Able to work well independently and as part of an effective team in a fast-paced environment, working across multiple projects simultaneously. Desirable criteria Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Premiere Pro and Photoshop). The Department of Arts and Design of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities invites applications for the position of Full/Associate/Assistant Professor in Architecture and Urban Design Practice. According to the current plan, a Faculty of Design will be established at the new campus, offering undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes in Architecture and Urban Design. Qualifications 1. Doctoral degree (or equivalent terminal degree) in Architecture and Urban Design or related areas; 2. A track record in design practice, teaching and research in one or more of the following areas: a. architecture and urban design practice; b. advanced architecture and urban design technology; 3. Extensive experience as a practitioner and educator for senior positions; 4. An excellent record of architecture and urban design projects and design awards is preferred; 5. This position is situated within the Centre for Immersification, dedicated to applied research in immersive technologies and bridging the gap between academia and industry. Research staff at the Centre have the opportunity to be equipped with applied research skill sets relevant to industry demands while working on innovative projects within the university. The research team is seeking a Research Fellow or Research Engineer with strong expertise in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and social science methodologies to lead the user research and policy development, as part of an interdisciplinary team investigating harmful user-generated content in virtual worlds as part of a national research initiative on Online Trust and Safety. The primary responsibility of this role is to investigate users’ experiences with harmful content in these virtual environments, review existing reporting guidelines on these platforms, and evaluate users’ responses to alternative mechanisms. The successful candidate will work with a diverse team of faculty members, engineers, and industry partners, including labs at the College of Computing and Data Science (CCDS) at NTU. Technical skills, natural curiosity, versatility, and enthusiasm are highly desired traits that will enable success in this fast-paced environment.
