Focus on MSc in Engineering and Post


  • Master of Science in Engineering (Diplôme d’ingénieur)

Our Master of Science in Engineering offers a tailored, multidisciplinary, and comprehensive education covering the entire digital spectrum: mathematics, physics, electronics, communications, computer science, signal, image and data processing as well as management, economics, law and social sciences.


Most international students enter directly the 2nd year (Master level) of our Télécom Paris engineering program (diplôme d’ingénieur). French-speaking students may also enter the 1st year to follow the full 3 year-curriculum.


  • During the 1st year, students follow mandatory scientific courses and choose among a wide range of elective courses: languages, economic and social sciences, soft skills and Humanities.
  • While in their 2nd year, students choose 2 study tracks among 14 disciplines, 6 of which are fully taught in English.
  • During their 3nd year, they focus on one specialization or choose to apply to one of the IP Paris Masters or to a partner university Master. In the latter option, the student graduates both from Télécom Paris and either from IP Paris or the partner university. The final year also includes a 6-month paid internship within a company in France.

Admissions to the Master of Science in Engineering

  • Admission criteria
    • A scientific Bachelor’s degree or enrolled in the 1st year of a Master’s degree in Science or Engineering.
    • Languages: a minimum B1 acquired level in French or English, depending on the study track language


  • Admission procedure :
    • Students may apply directly through the highly selective Institut Polytechnique de Paris common entrance exam. Deadline: Before September 15th for the following year intake
  • Students from partner universities should contact their university outgoing coordinator.

Tuition fees

  • European students: €2,650* per year
  • Non-European students: €4,150* per year

*2021/2022 fees subject to changes / See bilateral agreements for partner universities’ fees



Merit-based and need-based scholarships are awarded to international students though different funding schemes: Erasmus+, French Government Grants, bilateral agreements, Télécom Paris Alumni Foundation.



  • Post-Master’s degrees

These programs meet the expectations of either professionals seeking vocational retraining or students looking for a specialization or a dual skill-set. 95% of all Post-Master’s degree students at Télécom Paris find a well-paid job within 6 months after graduation.

The programs last 12 to 17 months including a 4 to 6-month professional thesis internship.
