About SWPS University

Basic information and contact details for SWPS University

First established as a place of learning in 1996, the SWPS University is a private university with five campuses across Poland. It gained its current status as a full university in 2016. The university maintains six campuses across major Polish cities: Krakow, Warsaw, Wroclaw, Sopot, Katowice and Poznan. As such, depending on which campus they’re based on, students at the university are potentially able to access the sights and sounds of some world-famous European cities, many of which already have a strong student culture. Aside from location, the university works hard to ensure that students are provided with high-quality recreational facilities, which differ by city. The campuses have good transport links into their host cities. Private accommodation is also provided via partner companies and international students are able to access specific advice and support for adjusting to life in Poland. A relatively large institution, it offers a wide range of academic programmes for both undergraduates and postgraduates. These include bachelor’s degree programmes in psychology, marketing, journalism, culture studies, law, business management and various foreign languages. Famous alumni include journalist and novelist Zanna Sloniowska, historian Tomasz Kamusella and chess master Agnieszka Brustman.
