The Department of Engineering at the University of Nicosia invites applications for full-time academic positions at the Lecturer and Assistant Professor levels (exceptional candidates at higher levels may also be considered) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, and Civil and Environmental Engineering. Qualifications: PhD in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, Civil and Environmental Engineering, or a closely related engineering discipline from a recognised institution. Candidates holding a PhD in Applied Physics or Applied Mathematics will also be considered, provided they demonstrate a strong, sustained record of research and teaching in core engineering domains. Demonstrated, peer-reviewed research track record appropriate to rank. Evidence of research income generation and successful participation in competitive funding proposals (mandatory for Assistant and Associate Professor levels). Demonstrated ability to teach effectively in English; prior teaching experience in English-medium programmes is required. Capacity to supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students and to contribute to curriculum development. Ability to operate independently while contributing to collaborative research and teaching environments.
