Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) is a leading university in the field of science and technology in Indonesia. Established in 1960 in Surabaya, Indonesia, ITS aims to become a world-class university contributing to the independence of the nation and becoming a reference in education, research and community service, as well as the development of innovation, especially those that support the industry and the maritime sector. ITS Surabaya is currently organized into seven faculties, i.e. Faculty of Science and Data Analytics, Faculty of Industrial Technology and Systems Engineering, Faculty of Civil, Planning, and Geo Engineering, Faculty of Marine Technology, Faculty of Intelligent Electrical and Informatics Technology, Faculty of Creative Design and Digital Business, and the Vocational Faculty. The seven faculties cover 33 undergraduate programs, six vocational study programs, 20 master programs, 15 doctoral programs, and 20 International Undergraduate Programs (IUP). ITS has seven study programs with international accreditation (IABEE and ABET) and 16 study programs with the AUN-QA international certification. ITS has international partners involving more than 360 partner institutions in 52 countries. It is home to more than 1,000 faculty members and over 14,000 undergraduate and graduate students. ITS’s current areas of research include manufacturing, transportation, and logistics, sustainable energy, artificial intelligence and biomedical technology, advanced materials and nanotechnology, internet of things and defense technology, agri-food and biotechnology, climate change and disaster, maritime science and technology, fundamental sciences, and infrastructure and sustainable environment. ITS has a Science Techno Park with centers in automotive, maritime technology, ICT and robotics, and creative design. ITS has three campuses in Surabaya. The main campus is located at Sukolilo with an area of 189 hectares. The university is continuously fostering sustainable development in campus environment through smart and eco-campus initiatives. ITS also works closely with the Surabaya City Government and East Java Provincial Government to develop and implement smart city technology for Surabaya and several other cities.

The Department of Engineering at the University of Nicosia invites applications for full-time academic positions at the Lecturer and Assistant Professor levels (exceptional candidates at higher levels may also be considered) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, and Civil and Environmental Engineering. The Department seeks high-calibre scholars with a demonstrated, evidence-based research record, strong teaching capability in English, and a proven capacity to attract research funding and lead competitive proposal development—particularly at the Assistant and Associate Professor levels. While priority areas include Digital Twins, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence with applications to Engineering, Smart Infrastructure, Sustainable Energy Systems, and Computational Engineering, applications from outstanding candidates across all engineering disciplines will be considered.
