Each day, our researchers and graduates are tackling global health issues and striving to improve equity in communities both locally and around the world. At the forefront of cancer control, Professor Karen Canfell and her team play a pivotal role in supporting policy, practice and decision-making for innovative cancer solutions. Their groundbreaking work has led to the transformation of Australia's National Cervical Screening Program, which transitioned to HPV testing in 2017, positioning Australia as the first country expected to eliminate cervical cancer as a public health issue. Professor Canfell's team also lead the Elimination Partnership in the Indo-Pacific for Cervical Cancer (EPICC) program. This is the largest ever initiative of its kind, working across more than 8 countries in the Indo-Pacific, leveraging Australian, international and in-country partner expertise to accelerate the World Health Organization's strategy for the elimination of cervical cancer. We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Program Coordinator to play a central role in supporting the EPICC program. The incumbent will provide operational project management and administration support and advice to ensure the efficient implementation of project plans, activities, and tasks across multiple workstreams, and provide secretariat services to ensure effective coordination of the EPICC consortium.
