We are also advertising a similar role which requires Secondary Education knowledge. Both positions will be based on the Tauranga campus and will work closely with our Hamilton team. In this pivotal role, you will lead the coordination and delivery of professional experience placements, working closely with schools, academic staff, and student teachers. You will ensure high-quality, research-informed professional experiences that meet Teaching Council requirements and support student success. You will play a key role in building and maintaining strong relationships with school partners, coordinating placements and visiting lecturers, contributing to programme development, and supporting the recruitment and selection of future teacher candidates. You will also contribute to teaching within Initial Teacher Education programmes. This is a varied and rewarding role for someone passionate about teacher education, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Salary will be in the range of $81,389 to $114,226 per year pro-rata based on skills, knowledge and experience brought to the position. Working closely with senior leaders, you will translate complex and sensitive information into clear, consistent messaging, support consultation processes, and help maintain trust during a period of organisational change. About You You will be educated to degree level or have equivalent professional experience in communications, organisational development or a related field. You will have experience delivering communications within organisational change or transformation programmes, ideally within a complex, multi-stakeholder environment such as higher education, public sector or similar. With excellent written and verbal communication skills, you will be confident translating complex information into clear, accessible messaging and producing high-quality communications for senior audiences. You will have strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence and advise senior leaders, particularly in relation to sensitive or challenging situations. You will be able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate sound judgement, and operate with professionalism, discretion and emotional intelligence. Experience of consultation processes or employee relations contexts would be advantageous.
