Teaching-focused role with no research requirement Shape future clinical psychologists in Aotearoa Supportive School with strong academic culture Ngā kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role We are seeking a Teaching Fellow in Clinical Psychology to join Te Kura Whatu Oho Mauri, the School of Psychological and Social Sciences, on a permanent, part-time basis. This is a teaching-focused role supporting the delivery of high-quality undergraduate teaching in psychology, with a particular emphasis on clinical psychology and the training of future practitioners. You will contribute to lectures, tutorials, and, where appropriate, laboratory or field-based teaching, as well as undertake assessment and paper administration. Working within a collaborative academic environment, you will support the development and delivery of teaching materials, contribute to curriculum enhancement, and help maintain high standards of student learning and engagement. Duration and Requirements of the Fellowship The duration of the Fellowship will normally be three years. The appointment will normally be made on an initial contract of 1 year, and further appointment for a period of 2 years is subject to the appointee’s satisfactory performance. The appointees are required to submit applications for the RGC Junior Research Fellow Scheme (JRFS) or the JC STEM Early Career Research Fellowship for Translation and Application (JC STEM ECRF), and are encouraged to apply for other local / overseas grants or fellowship schemes. Terms and Benefits The conditions of appointment will be competitive. Remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits include annual leave, medical and dental benefits, mandatory provident fund, gratuity, and incoming passage and baggage allowance for the eligible appointees.
