The Universidade Nove de Julho (UNINOVE) is located in the city of São Paulo and was founded in 1959. It is one of the largest private education institutions in Brazil. Job Description SCHOOL OF CHINESE MEDICINE TEACHING AND RESEARCH DIVISION The School of Chinese Medicine was established in 1999 and offers comprehensive education programmes in Chinese medicine, including both undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes in Chinese Medicine and Pharmacy in Chinese Medicine. The School is engaged in a wide range of research projects, provides Chinese medicine healthcare services to the community, and seeks to foster modernisation of the Chinese medicine profession. To consolidate the strengths of innovative research, the School has established eight high quality theme-based Research Centres equipped with advanced equipment and facilities. The highlighted strategic research areas in the School include (1) Precision medicine and phenomics study; (2) Translational medicine and innovative drug discovery; and (3) Authentication and testing of Chinese medicines. Assistant Professor / Associate Professor (23240880) The School of Chinese Medicine now invites applications for faculty position at the Assistant Professor / Associate Professor level. Applicants should possess a PhD in Chinese Medicine or related disciplines. Excellent interpersonal communication and scientific writing skills are required. Preference will be given to candidates with appealing external grant record, outstanding publication and leading potential of innovative therapeutic intervention in both Chinese and Western Medicine and Biomedical Science.
