The Role Surrey Hospitality and Tourism Management brings together exceptional academics in the areas of Hospitality, Tourism, Events, Aviation and Air Transport Management. The discipline is a part of Surrey Business School and offers programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate levels including a large PhD programme, and pursues a balanced strategy across research, education and external engagement.  We are seeking applications for a Lecturer (Teaching track) in the broad area of Aviation Management (0.5 FTE part time, fixed term position up to Aug 2027). The post holder will join a world-class group of scholars and will make significant contributions to various aspects of teaching on our BSc in International Airline and Airport Management and on our MSc in Air Transport Management, as well as to other teaching and administrative activities within the discipline. Job Description SCHOOL OF CHINESE MEDICINE TEACHING AND RESEARCH DIVISION The School of Chinese Medicine was established in 1999 and offers comprehensive education programmes in Chinese medicine, including both undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes in Chinese Medicine and Pharmacy in Chinese Medicine. The School is engaged in a wide range of research projects, provides Chinese medicine healthcare services to the community, and seeks to foster modernisation of the Chinese medicine profession. To consolidate the strengths of innovative research, the School has established eight high quality theme-based Research Centres equipped with advanced equipment and facilities. The highlighted strategic research areas in the School include (1) Precision medicine and phenomics study; (2) Translational medicine and innovative drug discovery; and (3) Authentication and testing of Chinese medicines. Assistant Professor / Associate Professor / Professor (23241272) The School of Chinese Medicine now invites applications for faculty position at the Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor level. Applicants should possess a PhD in medicinal chemistry/biochemistry/biology/medicine background and research focus on the area are invited to join the School. Excellent interpersonal communication and scientific writing skills are required. Preference will be given to candidates with appealing external grant record, outstanding publication and leading potential of industrialisation for development of prognostic and predictive biomarkers as well as innovative therapeutic intervention.
