To provide strategic and appropriate management information and recommendations to the Directors of Theme and Heads of Centre’s to enable them to take strategic forward looking financial decisions with respect to the monitoring, growth and development of their Themes. You will support the Head of Management Accounts and the embedded Finance team to become a recognised Centre of Excellence for budgeting, forecasting and financial information within the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Sciences (FEAS) and act as a contact point for financial queries. About You You will be a qualified accountant or have significant experience working in a management accounting environment, with the ability to interpret financial information and provide clear, practical advice. You will bring: Experience of budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and management report. Strong analytical skills, with excellent attention to detail. Confidence communicating financial information to non-financial stakeholders. Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills. The ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines in a complex environment. Experience gained within a large, complex organisation or the higher education sector, along with knowledge of Agresso or similar financial systems, would be advantageous.
