Management & Science University (MSU)

Management and Science University is a private institutions in Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia.

Formerly known as University College of Technology and Management Malaysia, the Management and Science University opened in 2001 under the MSU Holdings group of educational foundations and institutes. It earned official university status in 2007 and has since opened two graduate schools.

Approximately 15,000 students are enrolled at the university, alongside 700 academic staff. The campus is spacious while in an urban setting, with on-site facilities including a leisure centre and swimming pool, Islamic and Cultural Centre, student counselling and career development facilities as well as restaurants, shops and a park.

Academic teaching takes place across more than 100 programmes, including undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, diplomas and PhD research. Major fields of study are organised into several core faculties and schools, including health and life sciences, business management, and hospitality and creative arts.

The university also has an international medical school, which offers biology and medical science degrees. A separate school of pharmacy offers courses in medical pharmacy and traditional Chinese medicine.

The university prides itself on its numerous international partnerships across teaching and research, and has links to universities in Australia, India, Japan, South Africa, the US and UK, with some exchange programmes in place.

The university has a high rate of graduate employment: according to the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia, 98.6 per cent of MSU students find work within six months of graduating.

It was also ranked at 401-600 in the 2020 Times Higher Education World University Impact Rankings.
