Part time fixed term (0.8 FTE) contract , for 2 years available Exciting opportunity for an Associate Lecturer/Lecturer (Clinical Education) (Education-focused) to contribute to clinical education within the Discipline of Exercise and Sport Sciences and the Sydney School of Health Sciences Base Salary ranging from $89,831 - $151,328 + 17% superannuation ( Pro Rata) About the opportunity The Sydney School of Health Sciences is experiencing significant growth and investment as part of the Faculty of Medicine and Health's strategic vision. We are seeking an Associate Lecturer/Lecturer in Clinical Education with expertise in Exercise and Sport Science and Exercise Physiology to contribute to high quality, practice oriented teaching that prepares graduates for contemporary health and clinical practice. This education focused role is expected to make a substantial contribution to clinical teaching and learning, design and evaluation with a strong emphasis on student coaching, skills development, and best practice client care in simulated and authentic work-based settings. The successful candidate will work closely with academic and clinical colleagues to deliver engaging, authentic learning experiences that support student success and workforce readiness. The role is expected to dedicate the majority of workload (typically up to 70% by agreement) to teaching and teaching related activity, including curriculum design, assessment, evaluation, and scholarly enhancement of clinical education practice. Clinical education may be delivered outside standard business hours. Applicants should be aware that this role involves early starts and late finishes due to the scheduling required for student-led clinic operations. About you A postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline (Exercise Physiology / Exercise and Sport Science or related field) minimum of 5 years of recent clinical experience in Exercise Physiology/Exercise and Sport Science or related area current professional registration/accreditation with Exercise & Sport Science Australia (ESSA) as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP) or Accredited Exercise Scientist (AES) demonstrated experience in clinical teaching and learning a developing and applied understanding of contemporary clinical education practices and effective curriculum design proven ability to work collaboratively as part of an academic and clinical education team commitment to excellence in teaching demonstrated ability to foster inclusive, equitable and respectful learning environments. Job Description SCHOOL OF CREATIVE ARTS ACADEMY OF VISUAL ARTS Part-time Lecturer (25260664) The Academy of Visual Arts is the first-of-its-kind local institution in delivering Arts and Technology education, which is looking for Part-time Lecturer(s) to teach the course(s) at undergraduate level in the following areas: Unreal VR technology Digital media and fabrication Creative computation Any other related disciplines The ideal candidate should hold a master’s degree or above in related disciplines, with 3 years of experience in creative industries with aspects of content development, budgeting, licensing, administration, marketing, or audience engagement, preferably with teaching experience at the university level. A good command of English and Chinese, excellent communication skills, and a strong sense of responsibility are required. Duties may also include supervision of students, marking of examination papers, and any other work as assigned by the Programme Director and Director of the Academy.
