As we continue to deliver our 2030 Strategy, this role will further embed the People Plan locally, with a strong focus on impactful leadership, performance and development, attraction and retention, and building an adaptive, inclusive culture that supports change and drives engagement. As a trusted adviser and critical friend to senior leaders, you will: Build strong, credible relationships to understand business priorities and deliver expert, strategic HR support. Translate University and faculty strategies into aligned local People Plans that drive performance, capability, resilience and engagement. Lead strategic workforce and succession planning to ensure long-term sustainability and business continuity. Coach and influence leaders to strengthen management capability and embed a high-performance, inclusive culture. Manage complex employee relations matters, including investigations, formal processes and tribunal preparation. You will be a Chartered CIPD member with substantial HR Business Partnering experience within a large, complex organisation. You will bring: Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice. A track record of delivering impactful HR interventions that enhance organisational performance. Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence with credibility and confidence. Experience acting as a culture change agent and managing complex ER casework. Experience working with operational services particularly estates, facilities, and in highly unionised environments, is highly desirable, as this role will support Estates and Campus Services alongside other professional service areas. The Liverpool Centre for Advanced Policing Studies (LCAPS) is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Lecturer in Policing Studies to contribute to teaching, research, and professional practice across its Forensic Investigation programmes, with a particular emphasis on immersive mock crime scene environments and simulation-based and laboratory-based learning. As part of the SU Advice team, the Student Money Adviser will provide specialist, impartial advice and guidance to current and prospective students on financial matters, including student finance, discretionary support, hardship funds, welfare benefits, and financial wellbeing. Working closely with Students' Union and University colleagues, the Adviser will be a primary contact for students experiencing financial challenges related to their studies, ensuring they receive accurate information, advice, and proactive support to address challenges, succeed academically and support their overall wellbeing. This role supports the strategic objectives of the Students' Union and University, aligning with the SU Strategic Plan to enhance the student experience and promote student success. About The Person The successful candidate must have, and your application should clearly demonstrate that you meet the following essential criteria: Hold an HND or Level 4 qualification in Advice and Guidance (or an equivalent Level 4 qualification) and have a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience. OR; Be educated to 'A' Level standard with significant relevant experience. Relevant professional experience in providing one-to-one impartial money advice and financial wellbeing guidance Interpreting and advising on complex statutory regulations, policies, procedures, and detailed information. Using a case management system, such as Advice Pro. Working collaboratively and effectively as part of both large and small teams.
