About the role King’s College London’s Simulation and Interactive Learning Centre is seeking a Simulation Education Specialist to support the delivery of high-quality, clinically relevant simulation-based education across the Health Faculties. This professional services role acts as a key link between the centre and academic colleagues, helping to translate curricular and clinical requirements into practical, well-designed learning activities that meet recognised standards of simulation practice. You will play a central role in planning, coordinating, and delivering simulation sessions that are educationally sound, operationally feasible, and provide meaningful learning outcomes for students and staff. The post holder will develop, maintain, and manage centre-specific educational resources, documents, and repositories, including exploring opportunities for automation to improve efficiency and resource tracking. By capturing the educational demand from faculties, you will help inform service planning, centre resource development, and potential research initiatives, contributing to the continuous enhancement of simulation-based education across King’s Health Faculties. You will provide guidance on best practice in simulation pedagogy, support faculty colleagues in session design, and ensure all activities comply with quality assurance processes and clinical standards. The successful candidate will have experience in delivering or supporting simulation-based or interactive learning in healthcare or higher education and a strong understanding of clinical practice. You will demonstrate excellent organisational, planning, and problem-solving skills, and be able to make decisions independently while balancing operational constraints and educational objectives. Effective communication and collaboration are essential, as you will work with academic staff, clinical educators, technical teams, and students to ensure smooth delivery and meaningful outcomes. Attention to detail, flexibility, and a commitment to continuous improvement are key to success in this role. The African Genome Center (AGC) invites applications for an open-rank faculty position in Environmental OMICS. This position focuses on the application of high-throughput OMICS approaches (genomics, metagenomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, and metabolomics) as well as metabarcoding to investigate biological systems within environmental contexts. The successful candidate will contribute to advancing our understanding of microbial, plant, and ecosystem-level processes that drive environmental function, resilience, and sustainability. Applicants should demonstrate strong expertise in analyzing OMICS data generated from environmental samples, enabling insights into biodiversity, community structure, functional potential, and ecosystem processes. Experience in integrating multi-omics datasets and linking molecular data with environmental, ecological, or biogeochemical variables is highly desirable.
