Founded in 2013, Duke Kunshan University is a partnership of Duke University in the United States, Wuhan University in China, and the fast-developing Chinese city of Kunshan, Jiangsu province, where its campus is located.

Duke University

A private comprehensive teaching and research university, Duke traces its roots to 1838, and officially became Duke University in 1924. Wuhan University

Description The Perception and Active Cognition (PAC) Lab at New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) is seeking an Emirati Junior Research Scientist for a 30-month position supporting a collaborative research project between NYUAD and the National Academy of Childhood Development (NACD), a subsidiary of Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Authority. Applicants with a background in psychology, neuroscience, linguistics and developmental psychology are encouraged to apply. Terms of employment include competitive salary and benefits. This role involves on-site work across NYUAD and NACD facilities and focuses on interdisciplinary research at the intersection of psychology, neuroscience and linguistics. The ideal candidate will contribute to study design, stimulus preparation, data collection, and data analysis, working closely with NYUAD researchers and NACD stakeholders. The position also involves direct interaction with Emirati participants of all ages recruited through NACD, requiring strong communication skills and cultural sensitivity. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, though a master’s degree is preferred. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with psycholinguistics, strong computational skills, and a background in developmental psychology or neuroscience. Description The Haven Lab, in the Division of Engineering and the Center for Cyber Security, New York University Abu Dhabi, invites applications for a Post-doctoral Associate position in security and privacy. The lab's mission is to provide individuals with control over their privacy and protection from digital threats. We want to work towards a future where digital services are inherently designed with user privacy and safety at the forefront. Current research thrusts involve: Large-scale measurements on the web to understand and characterize harmful online phenomena. Development of AI-based countermeasures for security and privacy, especially in on-device settings. Investigation of attacks/defenses on AI-based systems.
