Further to suggestions on how to avoid authorship wars, if more than six people are involved in a project, then there should be a single author “plus team of XX people”, with those people and their roles in an appendix headed “Project Team”( “All present and correct?”, Features, 30 November). Anyone who bases anything on authorship will now have to look through the project team listing if “plus team” appears.
