Whether it is creating joint graduate programs with reputable overseas universities, or hosting academic conferences to enrich the academic community or launching global partnerships in technology enterprises, SUSTech initiatives encourage and support global networking and technology transfer. At present, 22 enterprises have been established and 8 more are in the process of registration. With the College of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, SUSTech is serious about being the leader in innovation and technology transfer, and is currently building an International Maker Space to further its teaching, research, and international cooperation in these endeavors. It is little wonder then, that SUSTech has become China’s newest and most impactful thinktank university for the whole country, and quickly becoming a global contributor in innovation and research as well.
