This role is central to promoting the University to prospective students and supporting the wider Admissions and Student Recruitment function. A Student Recruitment Officer will foster meaningful connections with prospective students and their influencers, ensuring a welcoming, informative, and supportive experience. The post-holder will work collaboratively across the University and with external stakeholders, including guidance counsellors, teachers, school leaders, Colleges of Further Education, parents, and colleagues across academic and administrative departments. The Student Recruitment Officer position is ideal for someone with strong organisational, communication, and event management skills, who are proactive, flexible, and committed to delivering excellent service to prospective students. Applicants should note that there will be a requirement to to travel nationwide and work outside normal office hours (occasionally at short notice) including weekends. The post holder will report to the Director of Admissions or their nominee. Salary: Administrative Officer II (2026): €46,918 – €66,464 p.a. The Student Experience Directorate is one of the largest Professional Services departments in the University, compromised of a diverse range of teams who share the same passion for enhancing our students' experiences and supporting their wellbeing. We are looking to recruit an Administrative Officer to join the Taught Programme Administration team in the Faculty of Environmental and Life Sciences. You will be well organised and adaptable taking a proactive approach in reviewing processes and practices. Excellent communication, organisation and inter-personal skills are required as is a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. It is desirable that candidates have experience of working with large data sets. This is an entry level role in higher education administration that would suit an individual in the earlier stages of their career, or an individual with relevant experience, seeking to make a career change into the higher education sector. About the Job We are seeking to appoint a Technical Assistant to join the Hospital & Primary Care Training Hub (HPCTH) technical team within the Office of the Health campus to provide high quality support for our teaching in the School of Health, Sport & Bioscience.   As part of a supportive and forward-thinking team, you will be responsible for ensuring HPCTH teaching resources are set up and available in advance of teaching events, assisting with the requisitioning of items using the University Purchasing System and ensuring adequate stocks of instruments, equipment, and consumables by means of regular stocktaking and the production of inventories. About You You will have basic technical knowledge and/or experience in healthcare simulation-based learning in Higher Education or NHS settings, and a commitment towards a career in Technical Support.  You will have good basic IT skills, including the Microsoft Office 365 suite. You will be customer-focused, with excellent communication skills and the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot problems. You will have good organisational skills which can be applied to the role, and the ability to follow procedures in an accurate and timely manner.
