We are seeking a research fellow to play a central role in the recently awarded Australian Research Council funded project “Better childcare policy: parental labour supply and provider responses” (DP260101621). Working closely with Chief Investigator Professor Robert Breunig, this role will include driving and delivering on an ambitious research agenda. The fellow will work with domestic and international collaborators to undertake analysis, present and publish findings in leading peer-reviewed journals as well as actively support TTPI initiatives. This may include teaching in TTPI’s executive education programs, PhD student supervision, contributing to TTPI tax and transfer fact sheets, policy briefs and major reports, while also partnering with governments, academics, business and the community to produce, synthesise and share research insights. Our ideal candidate will have a PhD in Economics or a related field and a strong publication record. You will be fully proficient in Stata and/or R.
