The role We are looking for an experienced and motivated Student Outcomes and Transitions Manager to lead a high‑impact team delivering personalised student success support across the university. In this role, you will lead and develop a team of Student Success Coaches delivering 1:1 coaching, group support, early‑intervention outreach, and ongoing case management, oversee the delivery and development of the Student Success Module, and drive innovative, evidence‑based initiatives that improve student engagement, retention, progression and graduate outcomes. You will work closely with academic colleagues and professional services to ensure students receive timely, holistic and inclusive support throughout their university journey. You will champion a data‑driven, student‑led approach, using learning analytics, evaluation and insight to shape operational delivery and continuously improve practice. The Psychology and Child & Human Development (PCHD) Department is dedicated to developing evidence-based competencies in psychologists, counsellors, educators, and education specialists. Our faculty has expertise spanning educational and school psychology, counselling psychology, teacher education, early childhood education, special and inclusive education, learning sciences, motivation, cognitive science, and mental health. We invite applications for an Assistant/Associate Professor in Counselling/Counselling Psychology. The successful candidate will contribute to teaching across undergraduate, graduate students and professional education programmes in the areas of counselling and counselling psychology. Requirements Applicants must have: A PhD or equivalent qualifications at the time of application in the areas of counselling and counselling psychology. We are seeking enthusiastic individuals with a veterinary degree and MRCVS for two part-time (0.5 FTE) Lecturer posts, one to act as Student Engagement Lead, and one to act as Learning Resources Lead. Successful applicants will join a team of fellow professionals within the School of Veterinary Medicine committed to providing excellence in teaching for the benefit of a new generation of vets.  The roles will involve a range of responsibilities including: Delivery of high-quality, creative and evidence-based teaching activities, critically reviewing learning approaches, and implementing innovative assessment and pedagogical practices Creation and maintenance of engaging learning materials and digital teaching resources Coordination and quality assurance of teaching and student support provision while contributing to curriculum development and programme innovation Support of the School’s attendance monitoring processes through accurate record keeping, auditing of attendance data, and working closely with academic staff and students Engagement with pedagogical research and collaborative academic projects to ensure teaching practice remains current, relevant, and responsive to sector developments.
